I got my PhD from the Group in Logic and the Methodology of Science at UC Berkeley.
I was a post-doc at the Philosophy Department at the Research School of Social Sciences at the Australian National University, June to December 2008 and June to December 2009. I was assistant professor at the Philosophy Department at the University of Southern California from 2008 to 2014
I was associate professor and then professor at the Philosophy Department at Texas A&M University from 2014 to 2023.
I have taught many times at the Canada/USA Mathcamp, and was Academic Coordinator in the summer of 2010.
My partner Matthew Sheldon is in the Chemistry department at Texas A&M (and moves to UCI in January, 2024)
