Congratulations! It looks like the site works.
Make sure you’ve downloaded and updated the Zoom app on your computer. Since you’ll often be talking to other students via video chat, see if you can set a “virtual background” in Zoom, so that other people don’t have to see the room you’re in. Start a meeting (or join the class meeting (Zoom link removed), which should be available always, not just Tuesday/Thursday at 11 am!), click the arrow next to the video icon on the bottom of the screen, then “Video and Effects Settings”, and then “Virtual backgrounds”.
If it gives an error message, see if you can fix it, or else get in touch with me through e-mail.
Remember to also fill out the survey on Assigned Fictions (form link removed), and the survey on AI use (form link removed)!
